iPhone App Development

Well, it’s been a couple of weeks, hasn’t it? Without all the details, I have left my former business in order to start a new one (My partner and I had different visions of the future as well as different interests and couldn’t find a reason to be partners anymore, really). By late afternoon, I had found a new business partner, outlined a new business plan, had him start on organization, and I began to start on development. It’s amazing what comes together when you are acutely aware of the people you know and what they can do. Someone is already jockeying for a position in this business as a marketing agent, I have a business partner who’s been in various businesses for the last 20 years, have a list of ideas longer than my steno pad, and even a second developer who’s willing to sign on as well. Now I just need to learn how to program for the iPhone. Did I mention that? We’re making iPhone apps. Lots of them. We’re open to ideas for applications that need to be developed, however we are more in need of programmers looking to help a startup company flourish. I’m planning on releasing my first app in about a month (contingent upon digesting a Cocoa book, several blogs, stacks of source code, and as many documentation libraries as possible).

Either way, I’m excited. If you’re looking for ground level entry into a business startup, this one is going to be exciting. Now to get to reading…
